We love the H.A.D.A. show!
I've been doing it for over 25 years - around 1985 or earlier. The designers and customers in

JOSEPH A. KINNEY Joseph Kinney Fine Art The Best Show We've been coming to the HADA since before we got into the antique business and became Dealers, We would be there to open it up on Thursday the First Day and Stay until it closed at 8:00 PM. In other words it's always been a favorite with us.

I have always been able to buy well and the show and have enjoyed the pleasure of antiquing in Houston when the show is over. HADA is probably the only show that I do where I go out to fabulous restaurants and have a "life"!! The only way I would miss a HADA show would be if I were dead or in prison. Don Bethune
Hooked on HADA HADA’s spectacular antiques shows played a major role in my ongoing love for antiques. Soon after becoming Houston Chronicle Home Design Editor in early 1970, I wrote my first HADA show article and bought my first piece of Imari. I was hooked. From that first show until the most recent in fall ’09, HADA has educated, enticed and inspired me with great objects and terrific dealers. You can learn so much from the dealers if you just ask. Upon retirement from the Chronicle, I plunged into the antiques business myself. I’m still hooked and eager for the next HADA show. Madeleine McDermott Hamm
