Testimonials

We love the H.A.D.A. show!

I've been doing it for over 25 years - around 1985 or earlier. The designers and customers in Houston like English and European antiques and have always responded well to the type of merchandise we bring.

All of the H.A.D.A. members and staff (and even the hired subcontractors) treat us like we are very special people and are always responsive to our needs.  The hotels and restaurants in Houston also are very accommodating.

Best regards, Barbara Gill, Georgian House Antiques

Can’t be beat

I like the show because the dealers present are of the highest calibre—first rate merchandise, knowledgeable, and ethical.   HADA dealers attract good crowds of customers who know what they want and what they are willing to pay.  The sponsors and staff can’t be beat! Houston is a great venue and the George Brown Center a good place for a show!

The Best Show

We love the HADA because we see such wonderful things, the best of everything.  Its a beautiful Show with very expensive things but also the price range that any one can afford.  HADA is the Best Show anywhere and we're so very fortunate to have it.in Houston.   The HADA Show is so good because of people like you who work so hard to make it that way.

We've been  coming to the HADA since before we got into the antique business and became Dealers, We would be there to open it up on Thursday the First Day and Stay until it closed at 8:00 PM.  In other words it's always been a favorite with us.

Not Missing Any

I have always looked foreward to the HADA  Antiques show which I have done twice a year for the last 11 years....I have made many friends amongst the dealers and the clients.   It is the easiest show to set up with undeniably the best porters and  no hassels.

I have always been able to buy well and the show and have enjoyed the pleasure of antiquing in Houston when the show is over.  HADA is probably the only show that I do where I go out to fabulous restaurants and have a "life"!!

The most important things to know about HADA is that  people come and buy.....knowledgeable people who are always pleasant to deal with and come back show after show.  HADA has a great following and great quality dealers.

The only way I would miss a HADA show would be if I were dead or in prison.

Hooked on HADA

HADA’s spectacular antiques shows played a major role in my ongoing love for antiques.  Soon after becoming Houston Chronicle Home Design Editor in early 1970, I wrote my first HADA show article and bought my first piece of Imari. I was hooked.

From that first show until the most recent in fall ’09, HADA has educated, enticed and inspired me with great objects and terrific dealers. You can learn so much from the dealers if you just ask.

Upon retirement from the Chronicle, I plunged into the antiques business myself. I’m still hooked and eager for the next HADA show.
