Item Name: Etruscan Revival Hinged Bypass BraceletPrice: 3950.00 Description: A 14K yellow gold Victorian Etruscan Revival hinged bypass bangle bracelet, decorated on the top with granulation, terminating in two granulated spheres accented with granulated shells. Circa 1870. The Etruscan Revival of the nineteenth century was part of a larger Archaeological Revival. Victorian jewelers were inspired by the ancient jewelry found in unearthed Etruscan tombs from the sixth and seventh centuries BC, replicating the granulation and forms using modern techniques.
