About HADA:
Our mission is to encourage and promote the highest standards for antique dealers and to educate the public about collecting antiques. Since 1964, HADA’s primary objective has been to sponsor a show that would bring quality dealers to Houston and create a vehicle for providing support to local charities. Each year a portion of the ticket sales is donated to support many of Houston’s worthiest causes. We also promote education through our ongoing lecture series.
HADA is one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the nation. Founded in 1964 by three local dealers, the first HADA antiques show was held at the famous Shamrock Hilton Hotel. An instant success, the growing number of exhibitors dictated the show moving to the Albert Thomas Convention Center and eventually to the George R. Brown Convention Center. The show now consists of 150 dealers from across the country and around the world displaying virtually every type of antique.
